SriLanka Class M2 (GM EMD G12) celebrates its 60th anniversary.

Srilankan Class M2 locomotives (GM EMD G12) imported under Canadian funds in 1954 celebrated its diamond jubilee yesterday. To celebrate this a special train ran from Colombo Fort to Jaffna hauled by the first Class M2 locomotive, No.569 which is known as "ONTARIO"
