Pioneer Replacement (Hull Trains)

As many of you will know, Hull Trains is temporarily replacing one of its 'Pioneer' diesel railcar sets with a Class 86 and the 'Cargo D' mark 3 coach set.

Could anyone please tell me something about the Cargo D? What does the name mean? I'm not too well up on this 'modern' modern image malarkey.

Your not the oly one Trev, I have wondered what that Cargo D thing stands for. I know these are previously refurbished coaches into original Intercity blue colours but thats about it.
