He didnt miss death by "a couple of feet". A couple of millimeters more like. What must the train driver been thinking in those last few seconds.

The Dutch are proud of their driving prowess. I lived there for 11 years and can assure you that they've got no reason for that pride. Towards the end of my European sojourn I spent a few days in the Interlaken area with the only British pals I had at that time. We saw only two atrocious pieces of driving and both were Dutch registered vehicles.

Lights,Bells and Barriers what a complete and utter T@@T.

We get this sort of thing everyday on the far north routes but the BTP seem uninterested unless car meets train and BANG=Carnage

I really don't understand why people feel the need to run the risk. It's just stupidity. I hate it.

It's sad that some people can't be trusted with level crossings. >_>

I sent the link on to a Dutch friend who happens to have both the biggest and most visited railway enthusiasts' web site in The Netherlands. Unbeknownst to me had posed the same link on his own site this week and states emphatically that it's been faked. The sound of the warning hooter is definitely not that of the type of train depicted.

Well, it might not sound right but it sure looks good.
