Hi folks,

I too saw the advert in Railways Illustrated - good job!

I am the Press Officer for the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway in Kent, which is still looking as though it will be closing after Boxing Day.

I am also a bit of a railway modeller, although this has lapsed in recent years, I am starting an SM32 garden railway.

I do so hope that the S&KLR will survive. Please keep the Forum up to date with progress.

Hi Paul and welcome to the Railway Forum. I hope something can be done to save the S&KLR. I hate hearing of railways closing down for what ever reason. Best wishers to all the team at the S&KLR for the New Year and I hope it turns out OK in the end.
