Hello everybody
I'm another David - this time from Norfolk. I have been into trains since childhood - which was some years ago now I have to admit. Recently I seem to have been visiting quite a few preserved railways - I've found three in Norfolk so far. My particular interests are early diesels (is that how you spell it?), steam engines of all ages and the history of the railways in East Anglia. I live in a small market town which used to have a railway - but now has a public footpath if you get my meaning. In fact this part of Norfolk is criss-crossed by many paths that used to be railways.
I'm going to try and post this now and see what happens - with my luck it'll disappear somewhere into the ether and never to be seen again. |
