Tornado Naming Ceremony

I attended the 'Tornado' naming ceremony at York today. A really well organised event on all fronts. A little bit of a shame that an 8-car voyager pulled into the platform designated specially for viewing just as Charles prepared to unveil the name.

A few cracking shots were to be had and can be found at http://www.clagmonster.fotopic.net

Wow you got the exact same shot I did!! O_O; I was on my way to an interview today and so I decided to allow myself some extra time to view the Tornado, shame I had to leave before it departed!

You must have been closer than me as I was shooting on quite long telephoto!

Shame you had to leave before the depature. A slight slip!

Hope the interview went well.

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Never mind John you have taken quite a few cracking shots this winter.

May go to Chasewater Gala this weekend.

Also expect to be at Severn Valley for their Gala early March, Barrow Hill at the begining of April and Llangolan for the last few days of their big gala, so hopefully our paths will cross before too long.

February 28th-March 1st is our Home Fleet Gala at Wirksworth.

Best wishes,

John H-T.
