Class 47 number D1916
Do I need to go to specsavers? I am sure I saw D1916 when passing through Crewe last year, but I can see no reference to this number in current listings and it is not shown in this months Railways Illustrated preserved list.
Did I see correctly? If yes, who owns it, what is it doing at the moment and what was its previous, that is to say subsequent, 47 number ? |

It's still there at LNWR, Crewe. Don't think it's moved for a few weeks. Here's a photo of it last week
