Interesting to read that.
The actual quote I remembered, ( I THINK it comes from my Bricklayers Arms engineman book) is something along these lines, "In practice a Schools would see off an Arthur anytime", I will have to dig it out and read it again, no great hardship it is an excellent little book.
For certain the St.Leonard,s old boys I have had the pleasure of talking with swore by the "Schools" over anything else.
I will post the exact quote and the book title when I have retrieved it from whichever dusty corner of the glory in which it currently resides.
Knee deep in model railways at the mo, and have to carry on the good work getting that out of the way first.
