It is amazing the amount of machinery which one private heritage railway can muster over the years. NYMR must be out in front of everyone else by now?

There are I think a few sites that have more equipment than us, but most of ours is part of the operational civils fleet. As such with pressure on siding space we have to make sure every item on track has a purpose and is required by the P W Manager. As far as I know only the Unimog Tamper is out of action at the moment awaiting spares. Everything else except the ballast packers is operational.
