Not me, Dave, my first recollection of a steam loco is looking through the railings across the road from Whitwick station from the confines of my pushchair, aged about 3.

Cant say I do !

But where I lived (until I was 6) was fairly close to the same line between Harold Wood and Gidea park.

Not far from my daughter in Chingford i keep saying i will go to Chingford model railway at ridgeway park but i never seem to get around to it.
Is it worth a visit.
