Hello to everybody! My name is Mario and I live in Italy in Genoa. I'm very fond of trains since my childhood and my passion grew with time entering also into technical details. My main interests are Traction Units and signalling. Among Traction Units, technically speaking, my preferite are electric ones. I have a deep interest in locomotive electrical equipments and also in electrical fixed installations (i.e. overhead conductors and related power supplies installations and also power supply stations and primary HV Lines). Even if not directly professionally involved, at present I am a member of C.I.F.I. (Collegio Ingegneri Ferroviari Italiani i.e., translated into English, Italian Railway Engineers College)
