Hello to everyone. I found this forum by accident when searching for books by Paul Shackcloth. In particular I would love to find a book or books about Gorton Shed (Gorton Tank) in Manchester where my dad used to be based. I've taken quite a few photos of steam engines, mainly on the East Lancs and North Yorkshire Moors Railways but unfortunately most of them are too big to upload. However, I have today uploaded on photo of Duke of Gloucester that I took at the ELR during a steam gala.

I am looking forward to reading the posts and looking at the photos in the forum and if anyone knows of a book about Gorton Tank I would be interested in knowing more.

Hello Mark and welcome to the Railway Forum. You could make a copy of your photo and reduce it down with something like ACDSee to fit the gallery.
