Mixed signal gantry.
Hi Folks,
I took the photo below of a Wrexham & Shropshire train leaving Shrewsbury a couple of weeks ago. http://martin-grosberg.fotopic.net/p56591996.html I've only just noticed that the signal gantry is part semaphore, and part colour lights. Is it just me, or is that fairly unusual ?! All the best Martin

I agree Martin. I can't remember seeing a mixed gantry for a long time.
I don't know the area very well but could it be the transition point where the Crewe line becomes colour-lights but the Gobowen line remains semaphores? Perhaps one of the drivers on the forum can say if it's unusual?
