Steam returns to Looe Valley line.

After 50 odd years Steam is returning to the Looe Valley line in Cornwall. The dates have been fixed as 19th & 26th September and there is much excitement. This is to celebrate 150 years of passengers on the line & there will be a party on 11th Sept. at looe Station. If you want to come and stay and experience this please contact me as I have holiday cottages that overlook the line. My wifes Uncle - colin Jacks was a locomotive Driver and has written several books about his life as a Railman and he will be here to enjoy the spectacle.

Welcome to the Forum Causeland. Would love to come down that weekend but it is really too far. Love the Looe Branch and it would be great to do it with steam.

Best wishes,

John H-T.
