South Africa: Horror smash at level crossing - 9 kids dead
Sad news, this morning a minibus taxi transporting a whole bunch of school kids was hit by a train at a level crossing near Cape Town. 9 of the kids died. Apparently the driver drove on the wrong side of the road past cars who had stopped and tried to beat the train. This guy was totally irresponsible and will be charged with murder. Unfortunately a lot of taxi drivers in Africa (and probably some elsewhere as well) are totally reckless. I wont be surprised if this guy is lynched by a mob.

The minibus taxi drivers are mad. Anything for a quick profit. A few minutes saved might mean another fare on the other side of the track before other minibus taxi's in the Que get there. I also wouldn't be surprised if this guy is lynched or gets a tyre neckless by a mob.
