Thornaby TMD, TE,51L
Good Afternoon,
Iam originally from Middlesbrough and since coming to Hamburg in 1995 I have been collecting anything to do with Thornaby depot. I am in the process of buiding a OO scale model of the depot based on the sixties era circa 1963 during the transition from steam to diesel. Does anybody have any photos of the depot buildings, workshops, water tower,coaling tower as well as ist turntables and running sheds?. If not perhaps you know of somebody who could help. Hello HHscot and welcome to the Railway Forum. I put 'Thornaby depot' into a Google search and found that there were a number of pages on Thornaby, not all about the depot, but there are some photos of the shed & the round house.
