Group to aply for planning permission to start reopening the Glyn Valley Tramway

A group has been working for sometime to start rebuilding the Glyn Valley Tramway. They have now applied for planning permission to start work. See:

This would be nice to see - but I hope they add some "tramway skirts" to the loco to make it look authentic !

Do you think they will use the original gauge or go for something more common ?

The line is to be rebuilt to a gauge of 2'6", same as the Welshpool and Llanfair. Here is a link to their site:
