Thumbs up Blackfriars - They've done it !

Yup, the north end "track slew" over the Xmas period seems to have been successful. It felt very strange today, thundering across the bridge through the new station platforms on the EAST side for the first time today (where the bay platforms used to be) - and at 30 mph instead of 15 mph.

There's several new signals too, including a couple of new mini LED Banner Repeaters in the ballast at ground level. Never seen that anywhere before.

Congratulations and thanks to the guys who must have worked hard over the Christmas Holidays.

Indeed it is - Mucckle Flugga is actually more my spiritual home. Although my commute to work is rather long, I do live a lttle closer to London than that....at the moment
