Help needed to identify year if possible
Hi guys
I’m still scanning my pictures and have found some from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway trouble is I don’t have any dates of when we went BUT there is a picture of a Western (D1049 western Monarch) there that according to WNXX was scrapped at Crewe 1962 Can anyone help with a/ year b/ what the loco’s identity is

I could be wrong but I believe D1049 was built in 1962 and not withdrawn till 1976 scrapped in 1977
|
