St Pancras

I've just read a magazine article (Building Magazine) about the expansion and refubishment of St Pancras for the CTRL. The thing that struck me was the original Barlow shed that I once thought huge is going to look tiny once they double the length of the platforms. (It's not a complaint - all investment in railways is good, and times move on. )

Also, I hope the St Pancras hotel refurbishment is going to be as good as the article suggests. I look forward to going in there, but I think I will stear clear of the trendy wine bars, in favour of hunting out some traditional Burton on Trent beer.
