Alstom Prima German problems

The Alstom Prima electric locomotive (SNCF 437000 series ) has failed to receive permanent certification to operate in Germany, excessive lateral track forces were cited, and SNCF did not choose to renew the waiver to continue to operate trains into Germany as far as Köln. So now the tri-voltage locomotives will be restricted to operating no further than border areas in Germany.
