Wagon numbers
Hi Guys and Gals
Help me out if you can I am building up an Excel file that I call my Spotters Handbook it deals with locomotives / units by class and at present Wagons are in muliptle pages listed by TOPPS first letter Coaches by Mark (MK1/MK2/MK3 etc) I have found a website that gives me some number lists but not all at present I'm looking for number series for CURRENT cement airflow wagons -- the PCA PXA's does anyone have a list that can help me out here ??? Still working through my old spotting books too to try to get historical numbering too but just scratching the surface yet

Gray,
I have had a word with a mate of mine about your query and he has loaned me a couple of his wagon spotting books (2009 & 2010). They are produced by M&B Gardner, 7 Wren Close, Aylestone, Leicester, LE2 6LX. I haven't read through them to see if any have been scrapped etc. The numbers are as follows:- PCA 9475, 9484 10000 - 10049 10600 - 10651 10667 - 10699 10738 - 11141 11200 - 11243 55531 - 55573 According to the books the PXA are, quote, Bogie scrap/Aggregate/Spoil wagons. The numbers are:- 3248 - 3259 Alan

Looking at Gardners books and the Gareth Beyer website, it almost makes me think about going to Barnetby, Leicester and Donny to do a bit of wagon spotting.
