A big Hellooooo!!
Hi guys, I'm Sabrina and as the username suggests have a soft spot for 6024 King Edward I. My Dad saved her from Barry back in 1973 and since I was born have been bought up around Railways. My Dad used to have a bookstall and as kids my brother and I would be found clambering around some loco or another at Railway events around the country. God I miss those days. Now I'm much older and not much wiser, I can only make time to get my fix when I travel to Car Shows around the country with my Capri. I have all the railtours jotted down in my diary on the off chance I'm off work to venture to local stations to see the tours arrive. Although I'm not sure my boyfriend shares my interest, he does follow me around lol.

Hi Sabrina,
Welcome to the forum. We have a few ladies on here but more are most welcome. May I suggest that for the sake of future peace of mind that you give your boyfriend a large dose of loco oil and steam. A few weekends around the L & B or Bodmin should do it ! |

Thank you guys. Tony we usually venture up to Didcot and back to Quainton for my steam fix. He doesn't mind it really, just not as interested as I am. It does give him an excuse to get his camera out though.

Ha Didcot, grand place to look around. What I love about it, is one can have a walk about everywhere without restrictions as such, just like the old days of shed bashing! Bliss
Cheers Phil

I love Didcot for that same reason although it is also on the way to 2 of the shows I do a year, so another great excuse. I need to get around more of the Preserved Railways sometime.
