Hi Trawlerman
Welcome to the forum. Although this a fairly old site, it has a lot of good info. http://www.trainspots.co.uk/listing-name.php Locoman4244 |

Many thanks for posting that Wyvern. There are many good points there worth noting.
I mainly photograph ships and the etiquette for being on docklands is much the same. We have the same issues with some undesirables being in places where they are not welcome. I think if more people showed a little common sense and thought about their actions when in dangerous places we'd all have an easier life |

Nice to see someone from my birth place although I managed to escape in 1972!
I started my interest in steam back in the early 60's whilst at Riley High. In those days, I used to spend a lot of spare time at Hessle and also on the bridge near Dairycoates. Went back to Hull recently and had a look around Paragon Station. A lot of changes since my years there! Mind you, my last memory of there was not so great. Caught by 2 Transport plain clothes guys whilst having a look around Springhead shed on a rainy Sunday. Had to attend a warning meeting with the police at Paragon with father in attendance. He was not impressed! These days I live near Maidenhead and regularly photograph steam main line specials in the area. Thanks to Locoman 4244 for the trainspots website too, useful! Still trying to find an easily accessible open stretch of the GWR main line but there are places that are not too bad. |
