Thanks for the welcome, I thought yesterday was brilliant filming the Duchess & Castle at Shap. I got a good shot of the return at Penrith Staion I re registerd yesterday there was no problem at all John |

Good day John a welcome to the best railway forum out there! Hope you enjoy the company on here. I took photos of the duchess at Duffield last Saturday and she looks every bit a Duchess for sure.

Hi John26f, a belated welcome aboard the forum, i see you are in a prime position for steam workings, down here in Devon we are not as lucky as all of you up North, as far as a Duchess is concerned, it must have been 5 years or more when we had one down here,then again they tend to become derailed. May i ask you why the 26f, after your name, as i am an ex Patricroft man,any bearing on that John. Keep well Tony T.
