long service medal.
hello folks i,m tom, i,ve just joined this site to try and find out any information i can about a medal i have, the medal is made of 9carat gold is just abit bigger than a 10pence it has on one side the LMS crest with the words london midland & scottish railway written around the outer edge. under this is another scroll with the words ambulance brigade, wriiten above a image of saint andrew. on the other side a scroll at the top says for long service. in the centre the name "W,Colthart" is written with the date 1919 under the name, I would appreciate any information that anyone can give, thanks
