Minsters rail campaign needs you

The Minsters Rail Campaign is planning to re-open the line between Hull, Beverley and York. Unfortunately the local council have decided to unprotect the route and develop housing over the route.

We are going to protest outside the council meeting of Janaury 8th at 1pm in Beverley. Further details are on our website www.minstersrail.org.uk

Please come and support us if you can - this really is our last chance.

regards

David Wells

Not sure this link is open anymore. Can't access it? Good look with your project and I can't understand the mentality of the councils who fail to support projects like these. It's short sighted and they have never learned from the mistakes of the Beeching era! Sad really.
Cheers
Phil

Thanks Phil and Jayar
I think I posted our old website address - www.minstersrail.net- should get you to the present address.
We are getting local support but practical support from national organisations such as Campaign for Better Transport and Railfuture is virtually non existent.
