China to build new East Africa railway line
Formal agreements for plans to build a new railway line in East Africa with Chinese help have been signed in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

Another step in the takeover of Africa by the Chinese. They are spreading over the continent like ants. It will ensure that the raw materials from Africa can reach the East coast ports easily for onward shipping to China. In 20 years time, the average African will still be living in mud huts.

Tony could be right, but the Chinese have built railways in Africa before. I recall them building one in East Africa in the mid 1960’s. They kept themselves separate from the Africans and were self-sufficient in food even keeping their own pigs.
