Derby 175 years

Worth keeping an eye on. On 30th. May celebrating the departure of the first train from Derby station in 1839.

Any excuse for a junket. particularly if they lay on the sort of spread they did when the line opened. For the ordinary plebs like us I believe they roasted an ox on the Eyses at Duffield.
