Amerton steam gala.
Pleased to announce Amerton narrow gauge steam gala to be held on the 14th -15th June, there will be six or seven engines in steam.
Amerton is a very attractive railway set in beautiful Staffordshire countryside, and is easy to find, it is situated within the Amerton craft centre on the A518 five miles north of Stafford on the Uttoxeter road. |

Amerton Railway Steam Gala - 14th & 15th June
Just a quick reminder that the Amerton Railway Steam Gala takes place this coming weekend.
We hope that we will have six locomotives in steam, our residents Bagnall "Isabel", Hunslet " Jennie" and vertical boiler Wilbrighton "Paddy", plus visitors Kerr Stuart "Peter Pan", Hunslet "Sybil Mary" and, subject to steam test, Baganll "Woto" fresh from a long restoration. Good access for viewing and photography, the yard will be open from around 9am both days to see the locomotives being prepared. The Gala will be opened at 11 am on Saturday by Alan Holmes, author of Talyllyn Revived". |
