I was kinda guessing you may ask, when I spotted your original message! It could take some time for me to dig out the VHS tapes and see if it's in any condition to transfer - something I didn't really think about when I posted my original reply.

Leave it with me, my tapes are in Lancashire and I now live in Glasgow, so there's the odd logistic issue to sort but I will look to dig it out next time I'm there.

I got it from a railway enthusiast in Dumfriesshire. It was recorded off air on video and transferred to dvd.

I'll check with him if he is prepared to send you a copy. If so I'll post his email address.

BBC TV Newcastle broadcast it about 10 years ago.

I understand that a copy was in a job lot sold at an auction in April (http://www.invaluable.com/auction-lo...1-c-3002530063) and is also referred to on http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/r...h/index0.shtml

Can anyone help me find a copy, please?
I made this programme for BBC Newcastle in 1985. Long story! I have a VHS taken from the master tape, and may be able to access the master by a bit of arm twisting. If anybody is interested, please let me know.

Hi Ian,
Did you ever receive the DVD? Believe it or not I have been looking for this for many a year after seeing it in TV when I was younger, but I was looking for “Last Train to Riccarton”
Living in Hexham I have always had an intterest in the Border Counties Line and was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me a copy please. I’m happy to pay a resonable amount for your trouble.
Thank you
Ian Dodd
