Investing $1.7Bn in Awash Woldia railway line project - Ethiopia

Ethiopian Government has been undertaking several transportation projects as part of a five-year growth.Investing nearly $1.7Bn for Awash Woldia/Hara Gebeya Railway Project between the Ethiopian towns Awash and Woldia. It will provide efficient mobility and improve the export and import activities, boosting the economic development.

My knowledge of Ethiopia is zero, and I find it amazing to think that there will be such a large railway network in that country. Thank you, emilymainzer for posting such an interesting article.
