Derailment in sweden
The train services in Sala in Sweden has been cancelled after a passenger train (loco+coaches) derailed at about 9.00 today.
Some sources say that the train should have stopped in Sala but for some reason skidded past the platform and through the buffer stop at a safety track. Other sources say that there was a tree laying on the tracks, altough I believe that comes from people that have seen the tree it crashed through after derailing. After going through the buffer stopp the train crashed through some relay boxes and a gate at a road crossing. No passengers we're injured. Accident site on google streetview: https://goo.gl/maps/pB3c13dkVbE2 http://vlt.se/trafikvader/trafik/1.3...-har-sparat-ur http://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/article21648222.ab http://www.svt.se/nyheter/regionalt/...arat-ur-i-sala All articles above in swedish but with pictures and also film clips from the site.
