Network Rail privatisation 'on the table'.
The executive asked to come up with a plan to revive Network Rail's fortunes has said she cannot rule out recommending privatisation.
In an interview with the BBC, Nicola Shaw said that a partial or total sell-off "was absolutely on the table; it can't not be." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-34276868

I don't think they'll sell off the land that the ralways occupy, or buildings or structures.
They'll privatise the maintenance and operational bits I suppose. I can't imagine buying the Forth Bridge and charging for crossing it; It would be the worst investment in history.. |

our governments(all sides), will sell off all they can to anybody who wants it. My worry is what happens when everything is gone? You can't flog off what you ain't got. A country without assets is bankrupt.
