Hello from ireland

I wonder can you help me please? I'm looking for info. on ROMANIA

I would like to visit the railway line from ORAVITA to ANINA next April. I will be travelling from Budapest, Hungary to Timisoara. As far as I can see there is a train service from Timisoara to Resita but I do not know how to get from Resita to Oravita or Anina. It would seem that Resita is a large town and probably best to base myself there.

I will be flying home from Bucuresti and I presume that I will have to go back to Timisoara to get there.

I would appreciate any assistance.

Many thanks,

DANIEL SMITH

Hello DANIEL SMITH and welcome to the Railway Forum. Nice to have another member from Ireland. Sorry, but I know nothing about the railways in Romania, in fact the only time I landed on the Continent was in Brussels airport on my way to South Africa.
