Warley Exhibition news
Anyone planning to visit the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham over the weekend of 25/26 November will be able to study the full intricacies of the Wainwright SECR livery - the Bluebell's H class 0-4-4T No.263 will be there with the Hornby stand. This is to mark the forthcoming Hornby model of the H class & No.263 has been fully repainted to exhibition standard by Heritage Painting especially for the event.
https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/news/th...e-announcement There will be other full size locos on display - GWR 14XX 'Autotank' No.1450 & 2' gauge loco 'Fiji' from Statfold are also scheduled to attend. A bit too far for me unfortunately, but looks like it will be a great event. Tony |

Not bad, entry from £14, parking £20 per day near the entrance, or £12.
The Classic Car show is on today, £26.50 and £12 to park. I would go by train for free, but still seems expensive to me. Perhaps I'm still thinking in pounds shillings and pence. |
