Hi all, new on here, interested in all things railway, especially steam, but I
came to like most classes of diesel too.
I live beside the Euston to Glasgow main line, and occasionally get to see something special,Deltic , 47 37 O seem to have the knack of not being around when steam specials come by.
COVID has greatly affected my activities, not that I am alone on that.
Can't type either.

Welcome to the Forum David. I can't type with more than two fingers, and also can't spell.
Thanks to the internet for correcting me I seem to get along with most things.
I was a fireman on the Rhodesian Railways until 1966, when I moved to the U.K. I wanted to join the British Railways but was told that I would have to go onto the waiting list that was about 18 months long, so I found another job and never went back to B.R.
Ended up as a telephone engineer with the GPO and B.T. Now retired.
