M&GN Y14 has failed a boiler test
Well that's sad

Sad indeed.
Not worth repairing now as the 10 year boiler certificate runs out soon. (as in the article you linked to) Are you still driving on the NNR ?

Hi Philip, yes I'm currently working through the diesel training.
The screw couplings are giving me good exercise.
