Hi John H-T got to agree with Dave, with all your knowledge of the railways your input I imagine would be very accurate and worthy of entry. I know there are a lot of inaccurate entries but it needs people with the knowledge to correct those. (Mind you that is if you have the time of course)

Phil , you have hit the nail on the head: Time!" Sometimes I make posts on this Forum "Off the top of my head" and get it wrong. Fortunately someone normally puts me right or I research the topic when I have time and correct the post.

It takes enough of my time to keep up with this Forum, let alone trying to check Wikipedia, even if I had the knowledge to do so. Checking usually involves research and in my view that should include cross checking from several sources. I am fortunate that I have a fairly comprehensive library which includes sources I trust. However one highly respected railway author commented recently that the book without mistakes had yet to be published!
