First of all i'm at the side of the track not on it or in the middle of it. plus
when you work on the track safety is the number one thing not just for
me but for my colleagues we also get training for this
And the NETWORK RAIL rule book states:

YOU MUST NOT GO ON OR NEAR THE LINE UNLESS IN THE COARSE OF YOUR DUTIES. This is basic PTS

I don't think taking photo's or video constitutes duties.

I have taken photos when I have spoken to the signaller from the signal post telephone but then again I am protected by 126 ton of loco and my train.

Nice of you to come on jay, i knew it would not be to long before you was to reply. First of all i never told anyone of my work because it is none of there business. and secondy what gives you the write to come on and tell me
about abusing my postion if i was not up to doing my job i would not have got it in the first place. and as for the distance at how far i stand back from the line well put it one way you would be closer to a train if you were standing on a platform so i'm a good distance back.

I opologize to swisstrains i was just letting off steam and did not mean anything by it

Well first of all, in the future it might be agood idea for people like yourself to say they are meant to be trackside when they say something like you did, I think everybody originally thought from your first comment that you where tresspassing.

Secondly, I never said you where abusing your postition, and I defenatly wouldn't say anyone wasn't up to their job, so read properably.
