Hi there and welcome to the forum. I am too younge and never saw a steam train the flesh so to speak. However we had a charter through here a couple of months back with 4953 Pitchford hall pulling the train. Well that did it for me such an amazing sight to see her at speed. I would have loved the oppotunity to have seen steam doing what it did best. But we cannot turn back the clocks so i will have to enjoy watching programmes and listening to you guys with envy.
