Got to agree John, wikipedia is only as acurate as the person who uploaded the information. It pays to check out with known facts. I too use books where I can to check info is correct.

Hey Phil
You got a library like me trouble is stuff like this changes regularly and books don't keep up so I use a lot of different websites to correlate information before I use it.

Certainly agree with the Wickipedia comments.

Trouble is that it is used on so many different sites as factual.

It can be so misleading

Certainly cross referencing with web sites and books together should produce some degree of accuracy! I do continue to buy books full of facts written by known specialists in their respective fields for instance "Locomotives of the LNER" series by the RCTS are a prime example.
