Way outside my league as well! The cost price for the Unknown Warrior plate without the crest was over £600, so I have no idea what these will go for but I would expect well into four figures!

Still there was a guy at The Loughborough Gala the other week doing nice wooden replicas for under £100 - might just stretch to one of those!

Amazing what horses can and were used for!! A bit young to have seen any of that in the flesh but i do remember being in a wee yard qwhen i was a nipper and seeing a couple of wagons being 'shunted' by the ScotRail A reg Morris Van Length of sturdy rope and much wheelspinning got them where they were wanted
