Arson At Gloucester Station.

From the local newspaper -

http://www.thisisgloucestershire.co....l/article.html

I've spoken to the staff and it seems the youth who's been arrested is well known to both the police and the fire brigade as "someone who is more than fascinated with fires" (I'm quoting a police officer).
Damage is considerable, and it's going to be a while until it re-opens. A nice ending to the year !!

Not impressed - if he is that way inclined, maybe he should be locked up for safety. Ours, not his! I don't think "care in the community" or whatever it is called these days can cope with this sort of person.

What a waste, atleast no one was injured in the blaze. Wonder how much its going to cost to repair.

It is a pity that all types of vandal can't be given the bill for their damage as part of their sentance. That might stop a great deal of vandalism.

repairing vandalism

The other thing that I think vandals should have to do is either personally repair the damage they caused: or pay for it in ££s and do an equivalent amount of voluntary work, either at the same place or another deserving cause. Said work to be done, under supervision, when their "local" team is playing a match!
