Question How long is the tunnel to the east of Ore?

How long is the tunnel to the east of Ore on the Hastings to Ashford line?
I rode this line for the first time today and was suprised how hilly it was I thought it was just going to be a trip accross Romney Marsh!

It is reported to be 1042 Yards long.

Thank you.
I was impressed by the amount of investment that has gone into the line all the stations have received decoration in traditional Southern railway green and even the smaller stops have electronic display boards.

Its amazing what information can be picked up from the web.

I was hoping for the answer from one of my many raillway books but finally had to admit defeat and turn to good old Yahoo!.
