Hello maxnod and welcome to the Railway Forum.
There were some pictures of some trains scattered about, most on their sides in our local news paper. I also saw some TV shots of trains that had been washed away on BBC News 24.

Well seeing as they could have reactors on fire, I would say things are getting a bit hairy over there. There still could be trains under all that sludge. I can't get over the fact that water could pick up something like a train! Nature is a powerful force.
