6th Wirksworth Model Railway Exhibition, Sat. 18th/Sunday 19th October 2008

The programme for this event is now on line, follow this link:

http://www.evra.org.uk/index2.htm

Go to "News" and follow the link.

Certainly worth a trip.

Ecclesbourne Valley Railway running both days as well. Last opportunity to ride on the new section Wirksworth-Idridgehay in 2008.

See the new Narrow Gauge line due to open in early 2009.

I will be around the Exhibition both days so please introduce yourself. I will have a name badge on and the "H-T" is a strong clue!

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Hi John,
I should be coming on at least one day with a friends layout, (Cannot remember which one he is bringing, either McMichaels Distillery or Nicklington).
Another friend is just finishing a layout of Idridgehay. He is a member of the Bulwell(Nottingham) group.
Paul.

Think it's looking like the Saturday for me John, because I have a Silver Wedding "bash" on the Saturday night, so Sunday would be a case of too many "spads" on the layout.

I will be on the door at The Parish Rooms 2.00-5.30pm on Saturday and at The Town Hall from 10.00am-2.00am on Sunday. Otherwise I will be around. As I have already said the H-T. is a very strong clue and I will have a name badge on!

Look forward to seeing you!

Best wishes,

John H-T.
