Something a bit different

Good news that the PPM's may see wider service. Went to Stourbridge Junction during the summer to see the two Parrys, the prettiest little units I have ever seen, well worth the trip on a sunny day which allowed several photographs.

Do you know- when the first DMU/EMU's appeared we hated them, but we soon found out, they were great for spotting or if you were well off- photographing.
These new units look good, and hopefully are comfortable. I've always loved steam always will,but we have got to live in the modern world. mickey

here's a photo of 139001 under construction & testing at Chasewater Railway.
