new model railway club being setup in Birmingham Bournville

Hello

Thank you for your interest in joining our club. I am currently formulating a
register of interested parties and have 20+ members at the moment. Following a
meeting in April 5 people were interested in forming a committee and I am
desperately looking for some suitable premises to house the club. I will
possibly call another meeting in the near future at which point we should be
able to form a committee, and set a membership start up fee to begin gathering
some funds. We have been promised £800 from BVT Communities Office and may be
able to draw on more funding through BVT's project funding body.

If you email me there full name and address I will add them to the register and
contact them when I call the next meeting. If you know anyone elsewho would be interested in joining please ask them to contact me.

Kind regards

Barrie

Hi all

I expect to call a meeting in early July to form a committee so we can move
forward.

I have been offered an o gauge layout without any rolling stock and a colleauge
and I are arranging to dismantle and store it until we have some premises for a
clubroom. I am also trying to contact the friends of Manor Farm Park to see if
we can get the Barn which needs renovating but could have some grant money
available. So you can see I am still very active in trying to get things going.
