You can always tell a Yorkshire man - but you cant tell him much!
There are plenty of stations around the country where you just walk in and out but it must be up to the train companies to either have barriers or guards/ticket inspectors on the trains. And its no good them have different systems along the line as it will play into the hands of fare dodgers every time.
I hate fare dodgers - running trains is damned expensive to say the least.
